Kapuso actor-writer Michael V. has appealed to the public to help director Bert De Leon, who is in dire need of financial assistance due to COVID-19.
Michael V. has also mounted a fund-raising event for De Leon, also director of top-rating shows "Pepito Manaloto," and "Bubble Gang."

"Bert de Leon is the director of #EatBulaga, #PepitoManaloto and #BubbleGang for the longest time. He’s handled top rating shows throughout his and our lifetime; a lot more than you can imagine! (Google it and you’ll be surprised!)
"He, unfortunately, contracted COVID last month and has been in the hospital since then. Some of his friends decided to produce a fundraiser for him.
