Team Aksyon at Malasakit fields candidates for Caloocan City

The Team Aksyon at Malasakit announced on Wednesday, Sept. 29, that Rep. Dale "Along" Malapitan will be their candidate for mayor of Caloocan City in the 2022 elections.

Malapitan declared his candidacy, saying he will continue and surpass his father’s and his own achievements as leader of the city.

"Alam na ng mga taga-Caloocan ang aking kapasidad bilang lider, kung mamarapatin, ang lahat ng aking nagawa bilang lingkod-bayan ay aking hihigitan bilang susunod ninyong alkalde (The people of Caloocan already know my capability as a leader. If given the chance to lead them as mayor, I will do even more to surpass everything that I have done as a public servant)," he said.

Caloocan District 1 Councilor Karina Teh will be Malapitan's vice-mayor.

Also running under Team Aksyon at Malasakit in Caloocan City are District 1-Oscar "Oca" Malapitan for congressman; Topet Adalem, Leah Bacolod, Alex Caralde, Vince Hernandez,Enteng Malapitan, and Romy Rivera for councilors; District 2 -- Obet Samson for congressman; Lanz Almeda, Ed Aruelo, LA Asistio, Carol Cunanan, Arnold Divina, and Melvin Rufino for councilors; District 3 -- Dean Asistio for congressman; Win Abel, May Africa, Tess Ceralde, Onet Henson, Bullet Prado, and Tito Varela for councilors.
