Four persons were injured in a three-vehicle collision on North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Meycauayan, Bulacan at 1:28 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27.
NLEX traffic senior manager Robin Ignacio said the accident happened when a pick-up truck lost its brakes, hitting a concrete barrier and a Hyundai Accent.
A closed van was also involved in the collision, according to the report.
Four individuals were immediately given medical attention for minor injuries.
However, the accident caused a huge traffic jam along the northbound lane of the highway.
Ignacio said that the congestion on the highway eased at 2:24 pm.
