The Calumpit District Hospital in Bulacan has opened its annex building to provide obstetric and pediatric health care.
The new building is equipped with modern facilities and manned by well-trained and skilled personnel under the supervision of specialists in obstetrics and pediatrics.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando said the Calumpit District Hospital will cater to indigents in the area.
"The hospital has enough beds with complete staff and needed medical and management facilities," he added.
"It has good and smiling physicians, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, medical technologies, radiation technicians, and other paramedical personnel," he said.
The hospital also has a breastfeeding and nutrition program that helps birthing mothers realize the benefits of good nutrition.
