Jasmine Curtis defends self over 'shaming' Grab rider

Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis has responded to netizens who called her out for a post about her failed food delivery experience.

Note that she shared it on Twitter and Instagram.

"Hey @grabfoodph, your rider stole my order. He won't answer texts or calls. (sad face emoji)," Jasmine's post read.

Jasmine also tagged the social media of Grab Food Philippines, Fashion Pulis, Ogie Diaz, Pep, and GMA.

However, a certain netizen reposted it and declared: "Shame on these people who act all high and mighty, but upon some slight inconvenience, uses their clout to publicly shame people."

"Did you just simply took down your post when your "stolen" food arrived? No public apology, for public shaming him just because you can?"

Recall that on Twitter, many online users reiterated how a lot of things could have happened, much better if it was reported through the application instead of posting the rider's picture.

"Baka naman nag crash ung app, or hindi mahanap location mo. If that was the case, you just unnecessarily humiliated him," one related.

Another added: "Report directly to Grab CS than post it in social media. If indeed the food was stolen, will you recover or get a refund if you post it on twitter? I have several experiences of delayed or missed deliveries. Each rider has reasons - app crashed, poor signal."

Someone continued: "Hmmm sana di na ipost, i know di mo nakuha u g fud mo pero pwede nman ireport sa app. What if nagkaprob lang . Naipost at napahiya na si kuya, cguro nman di ganun kabawasan ung halaga nawala sau. Pero ung kahihiyan ng tao if di nman sadya ang nangyari di na maibalik #justsaying."

Then, Jasmine replied and pointed out that she had taken the post down; and that she did simultaneously report it in the app and via Twitter.

"The Grab team has processed my refund. Wala po sa halaga ang concern. Thank you for your advice and will take this on board next time," she said.

However, a Twitter user interjected: "Eh kaso, damage has been done!"
