ALFONSO, Cavite - The local government unit (LGU) is offering free home fog disinfection services for residents who underwent home isolation or quarantine due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a Facebook post, Mayor Randy Salamat announced that the service can also be availed for homes where wakes have been held either for COVID-19 negative people or for cremated remains of COVID-19 residents.
General Service Office maintenance officer Marlon S. Varias told the Manila Bulletin that residents requesting disinfection will need to course it through the Municipal Health Office (MHO) for clearance.
The LGU is also setting up an e-consultation system to aid residents who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms under home quarantine.
As of September 11, the municipality has recorded 294 active cases of COVID-19.
