Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, in a Facebook post, said that 61,547 students from Kinder to Senior High School, including Special Education (SPED) and Alternative Learning System (ALS) students, will each receive modules, a bag, uniform, leather shoes, AB or Air Binay 4.0 rubber shoes, school supplies, and other essential supplies needed for Oplan Balik Eskwela 2021.

The mayor said that the school kits are now ready to be picked up by parents or guardians of the students in their respective schools.

Binay added that aside from the school kits, the city also has free internet and Mobile Learning Hub that are being deployed to various barangays in Makati to ensure that children will have access to the internet for their educational and research needs.

During the ceremonial virtual opening of classes held at Fort Bonifacio High School, Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Anne Sevilla lauded Binay and Carleen Sedilla of the Schools Division of Makati (SDO) for their commendable efforts in preparing for the opening of classes.
