Other promoted members who took their oath were Auxiliary Commander Juanito Chua Jr., Auxiliary Lieutenant Commander Jennifer Aniscal, and Auxiliary Lieutenant Junior Grade Jumar Aniscal.

The PCG said its officers were promoted in recognition of their significant contributions and support to the armed service through conducting humanitarian missions and disaster response operations.

Anderson joined the Coast Guard in December 2016 as part of the agency’s K9 Special Support Squadron.

His girlfriend Actress Julia Barretto has also joined the PCG Auxiliary K9 Squadron last Sept. 1, officially making them as a star Coast Guard couple.

Before being an official member, the couple was already seen supporting the Coast Guard initiatives.

The Coast Guard said members of the PCG Auxiliary are committed to serve the PCG by offering their time, efforts, and resources “without expecting anything in return.”
