Actor Robin Padilla accompanies group to Paranaque drive-thru vaccination site

Actor Robin Padilla and members of his group Muslim Kapatiran were among the people who patiently waited for their turn during the conduct of the 22nd mobile COVID-19 vaccination of the Paranaque City government.

Aside from visiting villages and subdivisions, the Mobile Vaccination Program (MVP) team headed by Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, medical director of Ospital ng Paranaque 1 and 2, also conducts drive-thru vaccinations.

On Sept. 10, the MVP team conducted a drive-thru vaccination in Brangay BF wherein Padilla was among those who lined up to have his relative and some Muslim Kapatiran members inoculated.

Pagsisihan said their team has already vaccinated a total of 7,082 individuals.

He said that at the drive-thru vaccination site, the MVP team was able to serve a total of 660 persons.

In a Facebook page post of the Paranaque External and Homeowners Affairs (PEHA) headed by Eva Nono, Padilla thanked Mayor Edwin Olivarez for creating the MVP program for the city.

Padilla told Nono that the project was very much effective especially in observing social distancing.

Nono said their team has also visited subdivisions and villages to vaccinate residents belonging to the vulnerable sector.

She said the MVP was created on May 22 to conduct vaccinations in villages and subdivisions with high number of COVD-19 cases.

The PEHA head said the MVP team also helps those who wish to be vaccinated in their own place instead of visiting the city’s vaccination sites.
