Angono LGU offers 1,200 COVID jabs today; allows 400 walk-ins


A total of 1,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be allocated for residents of Angono, Rizal today, September 10, and will allow 400 walk-ins.

The municipal government, through the Facebook post of the Angono Public Information Office, said that 800 residents who received a text message from the municipal government will be given the first dose of the vaccine from 8 - 11 a.m.

Only those who are under the A1 (medical frontliners); A1.8 (Overseas Filipino Workers); A2 (Senior Citizens); A3 (Persons With Comorbidity); A4 (Essential Workers) and A5 (Indigent individuals) categories will be vaccinated at SM Center Angono.

Walk-ins will be allowed from 1 - 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis as 400 slots will only be available for those who have not received a text message yet.

The other day, the Angono Municipal Government recognized SM Center Angono for having its frontliners, service providers, and employees of tenants vaccinated.

In a statement, SM Center Angono said it is 110 percent ready to serve; 100 percent vaccinated following its vaccination achievement that was done in partnership with the Angono Municipal Government.

“Our passion to serve you is immeasurable. That’s why in partnership with the Municipality of Angono, we have vaccinated all of our willing SM Center Angono frontliners, service providers, as well as employees of our tenant partners under the A4 category, “ SM Center Angono, in a statement on its Facebook page, said.
