Local, in't flights cancelled due to 'Jolina'


 At least nine international flights and four domestic flights were cancelled on Wednesday, Sept. 8, due to bad weather, airport authorities said.

In its flight advisory, those cancelled include All Nippon Airways 869/870 Haneda-Manila-Haneda; SQ 912 Singapore-Manila and SQ 919 Manila-Singapore; AirSwift T6 5110/5111 Manila-Puerto Princesa-Manila; Philippine Airlines PR 1813/1814 Manila-Davao-Manila Jetstar Asia 3K 766/765 Manila-Singapore-Manila.

Also cancelled were Etihad Airways EY 423/424 Manila-Abu Dhabi-Manila; Starlux JX 785/786 Manila-Taipei-Manila; United Airlines UA 183/184 Guam-Manila-Guam

The cancellation of flights is part of the security measures amid the threat of typhoon “Jolina” and another weather disturbance that already entered the country’s area of responsibility which was already named “Kiko”.
