Lt. Col. Dominador Ignacio, Bulakan town police chief, said they received a call from a concerned citizen about a cadaver that was found at Raan Bato by a garbage scavenger identified as Noel Delos Santos Hiraban, 50, of Purok 1 Barangay Bambang.

The decomposing cadaver was found covered with grass and dried leaves. The Bulakan police immediately issued a flash alarm on any missing woman.

Operatives found blue short pants with a bloodstain at the crime scene. The cadaver had no lower garments and was wearing a black printed T-shirt. The victim was around 35 to 40 years old, 5" feet tall, and was brought to Poly Funeral Parlor.

The exact cause of death has yet to be established as of press time but the police said that the woman could have been raped and dumped in the area to mislead police investigators.

The discovery of the cadaver, which was posted on Facebook, caught the attention of the Atiga family of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. It was learned that one of the family's siblings, identified as Vanessa, has been missing for four days.

Police told the Atiga family to wait for the complete autopsy report.

"Ang bangkay ay mahirap ng makilala dahil naaagnas na," (The cadaver is hard to identify because it's in a state of decomposition)," Ignacio said.
