Allow dine-in, personal care services for fully vaccinated citizens - Mayor Zamora

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora urged the national government to allow dine-in and personal care services for at least 30 percent as an incentive to fully vaccinated individuals against COVID-19.

Mayor Francis Zamora

"Ang mga fully vaccinated may be given incentives. Kagaya ng sila ay papayagang kumain sa labas, papayagang pumunta sa mga mall at papayagang magtrabaho. Ganun din ang mga establisyemento na kapag ang iyong mga empleyado ay fully vaccinated na ay papayagan kang magbukas (Fully vaccinated individuals may be given incentives such as being allowed to dine-in, go to malls, and be allowed to work, as well as establishments who have fully vaccinated employees to be allowed to operate)," Zamora said.

Zamora said this will not only benefit the business and the industry but will also encourage more people to get vaccinated.

As of August 31, 2021, the city has fully vaccinated 123,957 individuals or 140 percent of its target population based on the 2020 Philippine Statistics Authority Census of population for San Juan City, which is 126,347.

San Juan City achieved herd immunity against COVID-19 on August 10.
