The Las Pinas City government has distributed 93.68% of the financial aid or “ayuda” allotted by the national government for the qualified beneficiaries in the city.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city received from the national government a total of P501,070 million to help the individuals affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
Based on the report of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), the local government has already handed a total of P469,420 ( 93.68%) to the beneficiaries as of Aug. 30.
Aguilar said a total of 142,310 residents received their “ayuda” amounting to P1,000 per individual or P4,000 per family.
The city government listed a total 151,041 target beneficiaries of the financial aid, according to the mayor.
