Filipino priest goes viral after leaving ‘prestigious post’ in USA to work in depressed PH parishes


A handsome Filipino priest went viral online on Monday after a colleague shared his inspirational story on social media.

In a Facebook post by San Beda Graduate School of Law Dean, Father Ranhilio Aquino, he shared that Father “Ferdi” Ferdinand Santos gave up his prestigious position at St. John Vianney Seminary in Florida, USA.

"He gave up the prestigious position of Rector of St. John Vianney Seminary in Florida that has both philosophy and faculty theologies to return to the Philippines to work in depressed parishes," Aquino said.

Father Santos has a PhD in Philosophy and is also a licensed fitness instructor.

Aquino shared his admiration for the priest whom he met while Santos was still a student at the Catholic University of Louvain.

Santos captured the hearts of netizens not only for his dedication in serving the Church but also for his good looks.
