539 Pasay City houses placed under localized ECQ


A total of 539 houses from 119 barangays in Pasay City were placed under localized enhanced community quarantine (LECQ) for surging numbers of individuals afflicted with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Based on the report of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) on August 29, the city government recorded a total of 931 confirmed cases, 80 of which are new cases.

A total of 158 out of 201 barangays in the city also recorded active cases of COVID-19.

The city government is implementing LECQ on houses with three or more members who have COVID-19.

The barangays that recorded the highest numbers of active cases are 183 with 124, followed by 201 with 75, 184 with 21, 185 with 18, 163 with 16, 171 and 125 both with 15, 130 with 13, and 188 with 10.

The CESU recorded August as second to March for recording with highest number of cases afflicted with COVID-19, March has 3,439 and August with 2,491.
