DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite - De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) announced on Friday (August 28) that their emergency room (ER) has reached full capacity for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients.
In a Facebook post, the hospital's administration advised COVID-19 patients to seek urgent care in other facilities that can accommodate them.
DLSUMC, meanwhile, remains open and ready to assist non-COVID-19 patients.
The teaching hospital is one of the biggest healthcare providers in the province.
As of August 27, Cavite has 13,626 active COVID-19 cases, as per data from the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region IV-A.
