Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso continues to work from his hospital bed at the Sta. Ana Hospital where he's admitted after testing positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Domagoso is now on his way to recovery, according to Dr. Grace Padilla, Director of Sta. Ana Hospital.
"The honorable mayor is comfortable, with good appetite, and stable vital signs," Dr. Padilla said in a medical bulletin issued on Monday (Aug. 23).
The local chief executive was "full of gratitude" for all the prayers and well-wishes sent his way.
Domagoso tested positive for COVID-19 on Aug. 15.
He had earlier said that the city government will continue its operations and efforts amid the pandemic.
