The activity is in line with "Definitely free from COVID-19: Bulakenyo, Bakunado!" program that was launched recently by Bulacan Governor Daniel Ramirez Fernando.

Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said this serves as an important step to achieve herd immunity in the province and keep the spread of COVID-19 under control.

Both the uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of Bulacan Police with medical background joined the Department of Education (DepED) personnel in giving COVID-19 shots to Bulakenyos.

The Bulacan police force has intensified its massive information drive to convince not just its personnel as well as all Bulakenyos to get vaccine shots against COVID-19.

Cajipe said that around 98% of the Bulacan police force have been inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

The dependents of Bulacan police were also vaccinated against the disease.
