In a Facebook post around 6:50 p.m., the Manila PIO said Moreno was on his way to Sta. Ana Hospital.

“Nakararamdam ako ng kaunting ubo, kaunting sipon. Masakit ang aking katawan ngayon (I feel a little cough, a little cold. My body hurts now)," the mayor said in a statement.

Meanwhile, he assured his constituents that the city government will continue its operations and efforts amid the pandemic.

"Kapit lang. Tuloy ang buhay. Tuloy pa rin ang gobyerno sa Maynila. Umasa tayo, magtiwala tayo sa Diyos, makararaos din tayo (Just hold on. Life goes on. The city government of Manila will continue to serve the public, let’s hope, and trust in God, we will get through this),” he said.

The result from the Sta. Ana Hospital COVID-19 Testing Laboratory came out today (August 15), a source from the Manila PIO said.

The laboratory test result showed that Domagoso tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (causative agent of COVID-19).

On August 8, Manila Vice Mayor Ma. Shielah “Honey” Lacuna Pangan confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
