Song Kang may be one of Korea’s latest heartthrobs but he may have picked the wrong project to maintain his hot streak with “Nevertheless.”
The webtoon based drama topbilled by Song Kang and “The World of the Married” star Han So Hee recently recorded a massive drop in its already low ratings. Premiering with only 2.207 percent ratings, “Nevertheless” posted a 0.994 percent rating for its eighth episode, according to Nielsen Korea.
Many viewers reportedly lost interest with the drama’s boring plot while some criticized the poor acting of the lead stars. Viewers also tuned out of the show because they already knew how the drama would end because of the webtoon.
“Nevertheless” centers around two characters who are skeptical about love because of their past relationships.
“Nevertheless” is being aired in Korea over JTBC. Episodes are streamed weekly on Netflix.
