Zaragosa Compound in Barangay Molino II has been placed under granular lockdown from August 9 to August 22 after the local government unit (LGU) recorded five confirmed COVID-19 cases, two probable antigen-positive cases, and several other suspected symptomatic cases in the area. The compound is composed of 50 households or 200 individuals.

Residents are under a strict stay-at-home order and not even authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) are allowed to go out.

Barangay officials are tasked to assist residents in accessing food and non-food essentials to avoid exit and re-entry of residents.

The LGU, meanwhile, lifted the lockdown order on 678 Wet and Dry Market. However, specific stalls were ordered to remain closed until cleared by the City Health Office (CHO).

The city government has earlier placed BF El Grande Subdivision in Barangay Molino VI, Addas 2C in Barangay Molino II, and Little Quiapo in Barangay Talaba IV under lockdown due to COVID-19 cases.
