The Muntinlupa City COVID-19 Vaccination Program (MunCoVac) announced there will be no walk-ins at vaccination sites except for senior citizens during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from Aug. 6 to 20.

“For the safety of everyone especially during ECQ, walk-ins will not be allowed in all vaccination sites in Muntinlupa except senior citizens who will be accommodated at priority lanes,” said MunCoVac in an announcement.

MunCoVac added that while walk-ins will be allowed for 60 years old and above, there are limited slots depending on the capacity of the venue and the number of vaccines available.

MunCoVac advised people to go to the vaccination site only if they received their schedule. They need to show to authorities at checkpoints their ID and the text message of their schedule which came from MunCoVac.

For senior citizens, they need to bring their OSCA [Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs] ID or other IDs that indicate their birth date and address in Muntinlupa.

The Muntinlupa police have set up quarantine control points and checkpoints in various areas in the city to control the movement of people during ECQ.

In Muntinlupa, those with vaccination schedules are considered Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs).

Nancy Beltran, who lives in Bacoor, Cavite, accompanied her husband who is a senior and person with disability (PWD) to his vaccination schedule at Ayala Malls South Park in Alabang, Muntinlupa Friday. She said they were allowed to pass through a checkpoint at Daang Hari road in Las Pinas because of her husband’s vaccination schedule. She and her husband are Muntinlupa residents who recently moved to Cavite because of her work.
