The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said it will continue its services and all relevant transactions--including airmen licensing, examinations, and aeromedical--via online means effective immediately.
The move is in line with Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 130-A, imposing an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metro Manila from Aug. 6 to 20.
CAAP, however, shall temporarily suspend the conduct of in-person knowledge tests at its main office until further notice, in compliance with the latest IATF resolution.
The authority's premises shall be strictly limited only to authorized personnel/employees during the ECQ period, which will be imposed in an attempt to halt the local transmission of the more dangerous Delta variant of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Airmen were advised to contact CAAP Airmen Examination Board via numbers 09212170819 or 09564180270, or visit the CAAP website for further updates at aeb.caap.gov.ph/aebonline.
The authority may also be contacted via e-mail at aeb.caap.gov.ph.
