Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara will celebrate a feast mass at 6 p.m. at the St. Martha Parish in Kalawaan, Pasig City in her honor. A motorcade follows the mass. A commemorative mass will also be celebrated at 6 a.m., followed by a motorcade. Novena masses were held from July 20 to 28.

Commemorative holy masses will also be celebrated at the Saint Roche (San Roque) Parish in Pateros, Metro Manila.

Known as the patron saint of homemakers and cooks, St. Martha is the prototype of the busy housewife. She exemplified the beautiful, noble, yet often unrecognized traditional women’s work and loving service done at home for her family and loved ones.

The Catholic Church said St. Martha, who is considered as the “Lord’s worker” and “servant,” is a true model of hospitality, piety, prudence, and faithful discipleship.”
