The tie-up is initially available in Metro Manila and Cebu, but will expand to all serviceable areas of the delivery app soon. Patrons can get for their groceries and other essentials delivered right to their doorstep within an hour.

Customers can also order for their wellness essentials and cosmetics online, to be received in under five hours through Watsons App’s Express Delivery service. This feature is co-powered by Grab’s delivery service, GrabExpress.

Shoppers can also use GrabPay to pay for purchases online and offline. Earn points whenever you pay using the in-app wallet. These points can be exchanged into exciting perks and discounts through GrabRewards.

Watson’s partnership with Grab is part of a broader offline and online regional cooperation between the two brands announced in early 2021. It covers six countries, including the Philippines.

“With the prolonged lockdowns and other health protocols, and with the rise of e-commerce, we saw a shift in our customers’ shopping behavior with most of them turning to eCommerce platforms to purchase their necessities, and they expect their purchases to be delivered fast. This partnership allows our customers to conveniently shop for their essentials without having to worry about their safety,” said Watsons general manager, Danilo Chiong. “Grab indeed is the ideal partner to complete the purchase journey allowing Filipinos to continue to look good and feel great during these challenging times and beyond.”
