Golfers Yuka Saso and Juvic Pagunsan look ready to go up against the best in the world after getting the feel of the Kasumigaseki Country Club, the venue for golf action in the Tokyo Olympics.

In a video posted by the Philippine Golf Tour (PGT) Instagram account @philgolftour Saso and Pagunsan posed at the Olympic logo before the duo played together.

“Filipino Olympic golfers Yuka Saso and Juvic Pagunsan is now at the venue of the Tokyo Olympics golf competition,” said in the caption of the 23-second clip posted Sunday night, July 25.

The PGT also mentioned that Bianca Pagdanganan is set to arrive in Tokyo on Thursday, July 29.

The 20-year-old Saso, the reigning US Women’s Open champion, booked a spot as the No. 8 world ranked player and eighth ranked in the Tokyo Olympics list released by the International Golf Federation (IGF).

On the other hand, the 23-year-old Pagdanganan – No. 165 ranked player in the world – is the 44th golfer out of 60 that will vie for the gold medal. Action in the women’s division is on Aug. 4 to 7.

Pagunsan, meanwhile, is the country’s lone bet in men’s event slated July 29 to August 1.
