Manny Pacquiao was graced by fellow countrymen NBA star Jordan Clarkson and Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap recently at the Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club in Los Angeles, California.
Jordan and apl.de.ap, whose ream name is Allan Pineda Lindo, paid a visit to Pacquiao in the hopes of supporting the eight-division world boxing champion ahead of his mega-bout with unified WBC and IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. on Aug. 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
No less than Pacquiao himself posted a photo on his official social media channels, keeping it short but sweet with the caption, “Filipino pride!” accompanied with boxing glove, basketball, microphone, and Philippine flag emojis.
Both Jordan and apl.de.ap, obviously, are rooting for the fighting senator.
“Pacquiao, c’mon baby!” the Utah Jazz star answered when swarmed by fans and boxing reporters walking out of Wild Card.
“We’re gonna see [how it will end up]. It’s gonna be a good fight. I’m ready for it. Can’t wait to watch that one.”
Pacquiao is currently on his third week of training in the United States since arriving last July 5.
Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 knockouts) has not fought since defeating Keith Thurman in July 2019 while Spence last defeated Danny Garcia in December 2020 to remain undefeated in 27 matches on top of 21 KOs.
Pacquiao and Spence will dispute the WBC and IBF belts as well as the vacant The Ring title.
