If two successive nights of torrential rains were not enough, a magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck Batangas early Saturday.

Add to this the continuing threat that the Delta variant of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) when 17 more cases were discovered by the Department of Health (DOH). A 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew will also start to be implemented on July 25, 2021.
