Chinese General Hospital Colleges: Cultivating excellence in nursing education since 1921

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, hope shines anew at Chinese General Hospital Colleges (CGHC) with its Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Batch 2020 graduates obtaining a 100 percent passing rate in the July 2021 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination. Blessings overflow with one of its graduates, Rica Lim Hernandez, ranking 9th in the list of individual board top placers. This achievement stands out all the more as it marks the 11th consecutive year of 100% passing rate for the CGHC BS Nursing program (2010-2021). Coinciding with CGHC’s 100th founding anniversary (1921-2021), the triumph of BS Nursing Batch 2020 is a timely and precious gift to their alma mater. It is also their way of professing their commitment as registered nurses (RN) to provide safe and effective health care services to the Filipinos despite challenging health care conditions. A salute to the new RNs – the new recruits to the health care team.
