Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Wednesday called on the public to keep vaccination sites clean and clear of garbage.
I am calling on everyone, I think it’s not too much to ask for you to put your garbage in the right place...Let’s not be unsanitary),” the mayor said in his regular live update on Facebook.
Domogaso made the call after his inspection of the San Andres Sports Complex on Wednesday morning.
During his inspection, Domagoso saw garbage piled up in one area of the complex. The mayor himself cleaned up the garbage with the help of personnel at the site.
Alam n’yo na ang tama at mali (Do our leaders still need to show you what is right and wrong when you are old enough to know? You already know what is right and wrong),” the mayor said.
If you want your leaders to be effective in running the country, self-discipline and concern for one another must also start among us),” he added.
