Manila’s elderly people will receive the single-shot Janssen vaccines of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) on Wednesday (July 21).
The city government received about 18,800 doses of the J&J COVID-19 vaccine at the Sta. Ana Hospital on Tuesday (July 20).
The vaccines will be deployed to the city community vaccination sites that will have 1,500 doses each.
The vaccination sites per district are the following: District 1 - Emilio Jacinto Elementary School, Vicente Lim Elementary School; District 2 - Francisco Elementary School, Plaridel Elementary School; District 3 - Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Juan Sumulong Elementary School; District 4 - Moises Salvador Elementary School, Ramon Magsaysay High School; District 5 - Justo Lucban Elementary School, Rafael Palma Elementary School; District 6 - Sta. Ana Elementary School, Jacinto Zamora Elementary School.
The City of Manila, through the Manila Health Department (MHD) and its six district hospitals, has deployed a total of 1,019,618 vaccine doses for the A1, A2, and A3 priority groups as of July 19.
