The threat of the Delta variant of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has never been more real as the Department of Health (DOH) has already asked hospitals to raise their bed allocations for COVID-19 cases, and the OCTA Research Group has called on the government to impose stricter border controls to scuttle the spread of the dreaded variant.
