UMak’s Center of Nursing gets 94.74% passing rate —Mayor Abby


The College Allied Health Studies of the city-run University of Makati (UMak) has attained 94.74 percent passing rate in the recent Nurse Licensure Examination, Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay announced on Saturday (July 17).

Just like a proud parent, the mayor bragged on social media about the high passing rate of UMak.

“Congratulations, UMak College of Nursing for achieving a 94.74 percent passing rate in the recent Nursing Licensure Exam!” she said.

According to UMak’s Facebook page, a total of 18 takers of the Nurse Licensure Examination passed.

It added that 14 of them are first takers of the examination, and they all passed.

“Congratulations to our 18 newly registered Heron nurses who got a 94.74% passing rate in the recently concluded July 2021 Nurse Licensure Examination!” the university said.

On Friday (July 16), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 5,008 out of 7,746 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination in July 2021.

In the recently concluded June 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Examination, the city-run university ranked sixth among the country’s top-performing schools.
