LOOK: More Moderna vaccines flown in


A fresh batch of 250,800 Moderna anti-coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines arrived in the country on Thursday afternoon, July 15.

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque led the government officials who welcomed the United States (US)-manufactured vaccines' arrival at 1:05 p.m. Thursday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

The COVID-19 jabs, which were donated through the COVAX facility, came via Singapore aboard a commercial flight of Singapore Airlines (SQ910).

From NAIA, the vials were immediately delivered to the PharmaServ Express cold-chain facility in Marikina City where they will be temporarily stored.
