Moral integrity in leadership

In the middle of this coronavirus pandemic, the general public needs all the health information they can get to battle and protect themselves from the unseen enemy.

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, renowned medical practitioners, Drs. Anthony Leachon and Abundio Balgos, will define crucial concepts and offer clearer answers on public health management, education, reform, and the Filipino resiliency. Thus, this particular session is entitled "Public Health: Kaya Ba?"

Bayaning Buhay Poster

Dubbed BAYANINGBUHAY, this monthly webinar series features outstanding personalities in their own fields who have presented inspirational leadership. Cholo Kawada, president of the GRLA, Inc., explains that “BayaningBuhay was conceptualized, as the title suggests, to highlight the heroic lives and roles people play in our daily lives” but he adds “but the heroes we speak of are not limited to extraordinary people doing extraordinary works, but ordinary people doing extraordinarily well in their chosen fields, and that includes you and me. We can all be heroes in our own little ways.”

Leachon, a cardiologist and former adviser of the National Task Force on Covid-19, and Balgos, a pulmonologist who helped develop the locally-made ventilator GINHAWA, are both Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardees. The GRL medallion is conferred on exceptional graduating high school students with leadership potential.

They both advocate moral integrity in leadership.
