On March 15, 2018, Korean actor Park Min-woo was riding a motorcycle when he got into an accident in the early morning near Dongho bridge in Seoul.

He suffered head injury and underwent surgery and was put in the intensive care unit (ICU). He was discharged from the hospital after a month. At the time, he was fulfilling his military service as a social service worker after enlisting in September 2016.

Three years after the accident, Park Min-woo’s father gave an update on his son’s health condition.

On the Christian Television System (CTS) program in Korea, Park Min-woo’s photo was shown. In the photo, he is in a wheelchair.

“My son is sick. My son was injured in a motorcycle accident three years ago. I am taking care of him at home,” the actor’s father told the program.

He added that Park Min-woo, who is now 33, is taller than him so it was quite difficult to take care of him but he is doing well.

Park Min-woo’s dad recalled the day of his son’s accident, saying, "I was living in Daejeon at the time of the accident. It was said that the accident happened around 5 a.m. that day. The accident happened while I was praying in the morning."

He added that he heard the news about the accident at around 9 a.m. and he immediately went to Seoul and prayed to God to save his son.

Park Min-woo debuted in the drama “Cool Guys, Hot Ramen” in 2011. His other dramas include “The Virus,” “The Scandal,” “Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit”  and “Happy Home,” which was his last project before he enlisted. He also starred in the reality TV show “Roommate” from 2014 to 2015.
