"Despite the challenges we face due to the pandemic, patuloy na susuportahan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ang ating mga estudyante (the city government will continue to support our students)," Domagoso said.

The local chief executive met with the officials of the Local School Board at the City Hall on Friday.

"As much as possible, we want all students to be able to continue learning," Domagoso said.

The city government will also provide monthly internet data for K-12 students, and hygiene kits for teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Domagoso also said that a standby fund of P60,532,256.37 was made in case there is an increase in enrollment.

Last year, the city government gave about 110,000 tablet devices equipped with SIM cards and 11,000 laptops with pocket Wi-Fi devices to students and teachers.
