LOOK: Outdoor spots open for children 5 and up

And it's only applicable for GCQ and MGCQ places

Here's little big of good news to welcome the weekend. Children five years old and up are now allowed outdoors in select areas of cities under GCQ (except those with heightened restrictions such as Cavite and Laguna) and MGCQ status, noted presidential spokesman Harry Roque.

So what outdoor areas are allowed? This includes
* playgrounds
* beaches
* biking and hiking trails
* outdoor tourist sites
* attractions as may be defined by the Department of Tourism (DOT)
* outdoor non-contact sports courts and venues
* al-fresco dining establishments

Parents and guardians should also make sure that children are still not allowed in buildings and malls. Roque also reminded that it is the elders' task to make sure that children follow minimum public health standards such as wearing of face masks and social distancing.

It is also best to double check with your respective local government units (LGUs) as there might be a possibility of raising the age requirement.
