More provinces are putting up green lanes to re-open their economies to tourists and returning residents.
Bacolod, Tacloban, Cotabato and Cauayan have now scrapped the RT-PCR tests for fully-vaccinated people and accept vaccination cards as a travel requirement.
Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo are expected to follow.
Passengers are considered fully-vaccinated at least 14 days after having received the second dose in a two-dose series, or at least 14 days after having received a single-dose vaccine.
Cebu Pacific (CEB) welcomed the decision of these provinces.
To date, three destinations in Cebu Pacific’s network have local government orders that adopted the IATF resolution -Bacolod, Cauayan City in Isabela and Tacloban.
Cotabato now accepts vaccination card as a travel requirement for fully-vaccinated individuals.
CEB urged travelers to check with the LGU of their destination for the latest updates.
“We are in full support of these guidelines. Right now, we are waiting for local government units that will issue their respective Executive Orders adopting the IATF Resolution 124-B and look forward to welcoming more passengers on board,” remarked Alex Reyes, CEB Chief Strategy Officer.
“We believe this is an opportunity for all stakeholders to collaborate as we work toward the same goal – and that is to safely reopen domestic travel again,” he added.

Passengers are also constantly reminded to register in the Department of Transportation's Traze App for a more efficient contact tracing process.
CEB currently flies to 31 domestic destinations on top of its five international destinations from Manila.
