K-pop boy band ATEEZ’s online travel show slated to be held tonight (July 7) has been postponed after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In an announcement, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said the “ATEEZ Online Live Travel Talk Show, originally scheduled at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, 7th July, has been postponed.”

“Since there is a confirmed case among our outsourced staff members who recently participated in ATEEZ's schedule, the artists and other staff immediately took COVID-19 tests, and all test results came back as negative,” it said.

It added, “However, as ATEEZ members are subject to self-isolation and active monitoring, the Online Travel Talk Show was inevitably postponed. We will update you as soon as possible when any change occurs.”

KQ Entertainment, ATEEZ’s agency, said that the outsourced staff member was confirmed to be positive for COVID-19 on July 6.

ATEEZ members got tested and underwent self-quarantine. As a result, member Yeosang did not participate as emcee on SBS MTV’s “The Show” on July 6.

South Korea has experienced a spike in COVID-19 cases with 1,212 new positive cases added to the tally on July 7.

On the other hand, Kim Minhyuk, a member of K-pop boy band Noir, tested positive for COVID-19 on July 6. As a result the public performance of the musical “On Air Spinoff,” in which Minhyuk appears, has been suspended until July 18.

Also appearing in the musical are former Wonder Girls’ Yubin, former GFRIEND member Yerin, Baek A Yeon, Victon’s Sejun and Chan, iKON’s Jinhwan, Mirae's Son Dong-pyo and Wonho.
