Bea Alonzo notes network transfer happened after a year without contract, show

Did Bea Alonzo actually left an ABS-CBN show hanging following her transfer to GMA?

This is the question asked by fans, after several people trumpeted about it on social media accusing the actress of being "unprofessional."

But during a recent press conference, Bea herself noted the said show, which also involves Richard Gutierrez, Rafael Rosell, Christian Bables, and Jameson Blake, was "discontinued."

And it was a "mutual" decision, Bea maintained, noting both her camp and ABS-CBN agreed on it.

She related, "I was doing a soap for them but then nagkaroon ng pandemic. And alam naman natin na marami-raming pagbabago. So nagkaroon din ng pagbabago... magbabago din yung istorya. And we came to a decision na hindi na lang matutuloy yung soap...of course, nirespeto natin yung mutual decision na yun... and if I'm not mistaken, parang one year na akong walang soap na ginagawa and walang contract..."

Bea maintained it took her months until she finally decided to be a Kapuso.

Note the actress made sure to expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN in a recent vlog.

Bea's network transfer has been a hot topic in social media.
