The facility, called “Seniors Home No. 2,” was received by Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso and Manila Department of Social Welfare Director Re Fugoso from the Rotary Club of Manila Bay.

In his speech during the turnover ceremony, Domagoso said the seniors' home should serve as a “center of love and care.”

"Gusto kong maiparamdam sa mga matatanda na meron pa silang halaga sa mundo (I want our seniors to feel that they are important),” Domagoso said.

Three more facilities will be built at the Manila Boystown under the Rotary Club of Manila Bay according to its president Fred Sibug.
