Sometime in May, award-winning broadcast journalist Ces Drilon posted on social media a photo of herself sporting a new 'do.
“It’s just the perfect hairstyle to write the next chapter of my life,” she wrote in the caption.
Many of her followers thought she was simply talking about her being among many employees ABS-CBN let go after Congress denied the network a renewal of its franchise.
It was more than that.
According to an article on Lifestyle Asia, “she and her partner of 13 years have parted ways.”
To those not in the know, Ces was in a relationship with Ricky Carandang, former ANC anchor and correspondent.
Why did it end?
Ces tells the magazine, "We were no longer nurturing each other. I’m talking about both parties, not just him."
