On the issue, Dr. Jill talks about being the partner of America's top leader Joe Biden. She also gives a glimpse of her life at the White House with the help of noted photographer Annie Leibovitz. And more importantly, shares the importance of her platform as a woman in charge and how it could empower her fellow women, which she did so elegantly with the help of American fashion labels. Her style was echoed in the fashion spread with the help of fashion stylist and Vogue's sustainability editor Tonne Goodman, dressing the First Lady with creations by Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, among others.

"When I became second ladyand there was so much I wanted to doI always said, 'I will never waste this platform'," she tells Vogue. "And now I have a bigger platform, and I feel every day, like... What could I give up? That I would want to give up? Nothing. If anything, I feel like adding more things, but I know it's not possible, because you want to stay centered, because you want to do things well. And there's so much to do."
