Dr. Julie Gonzales, CHO officer, said they will come up with new plans to ensure the orderliness at the vaccination sites.

Gonzales said they are also planning to re-orient the vaccinators.

She said the reported vaccine underdose incident was an isolated case as they have been strictly following the standard procedure during vaccination.

She added that the viral video of a resident claiming that the Pfizer vaccine injected to her was underdose is now being investigated.

The CHO officer said the city government is conducting 9,000 vaccinations per day at the city’s 18 vaccination sites.

The city government has set up two more vaccination sites in Barangay Manuyo and Talon 5 as it aims to further increase the number of daily vaccinations.

Gonzales said the city government is committed to inoculate 447,000 residents out of its more than 600,000 population to achieve herd immunity.
