More than 10 million COVID-19 vaccines administered as of June 28-DOH


A total of 10,065,414 doses of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines have already been administered as of June 27, the Department of Health (DOH) said Monday.

Data released by the DOH showed 7,538,128 Filipinos have received their first doses, while 2,527,286 have already completed the required two doses.

Included in the list of those who received their first doses were workers in frontline health services totaling 1,669,660; 2,288,221 senior citizens; 2,566,460 individuals with comorbidity; 829,662 frontline personnel in essential sector; and 184,125 indigent Filipinos.

The breakdown of vaccinees who completed their second doses is as follows: 1,131,498 workers in frontline health services; 672,602 senior citizens; 710,846 individuals with comorbidity; and 12,340 frontline personnel in essential sector.

In their vaccination rollout update,the DOH said total doses administered in the 17th week of the national vaccination reached a record high of 1,658,072 doses.

The government is urging eligible populations belonging to priority groups A1 to A5 to register with their local government units, get vaccinated, and complete the required number of doses as scheduled.

"Regardless of vaccination status, everyone is urged to continue practicing the minimum public health standards as you may still get infected with COVID-19 and infect other people," said DOH.
