FVR, Muntinlupa mayor get second vaccine jab

Ramos, 92, was administered the second dose of the Sinovac Life Sciences’ CoronaVac vaccine Friday at the De La Salle Zobel School vaccination site in Ayala Alabang Village where he is a resident.

Brgy. Ayala Alabang kagawad Dr. Lester Suntay administered the COVID-19 vaccine to the former president.

Ramos urged the public to register with the Muntinlupa City COVID-19 Vaccination Program (MunCoVac) and get their jab as protection against the virus.

Fresnedi, 71, got his second dose of AstraZeneca Thursday at the Laguerta Health Center in Brgy. Tunasan. He also encouraged residents to get vaccinated.

According to MunCovac, as of June 23, 147,989 vaccines have already been deployed in Muntinlupa.

Of the total, 119,560 individuals received their first dose, representing 31 percent of the target eligible population of 385,725; while 28,429 got their second dose.

Individuals who have registered with MunCoVac have increased to 224,574, or 58 percent of the target population.

Meanwhile, MunCoVac announced an updated list of requirements for A4 priority group (essential workers) who are not residents of Muntinlupa. Qualified non-Muntinlupa residents under A4 need to provide a company ID or certificate of employment and 2021 business permit of their employer.

For workers who render service in private households such as househelpers and family drivers, they should present a certificate of employment and proof of Muntinlupa residency of their employer.

MunCoVac also released an advisory informing the public that the schedule and venue of vaccination for their second dose will be sent via a text message.

The first dose for A1 (health workers), A2 (senior citizens), A3 (persons with comorbidities), A4 and A5 (poor population) are administered at the following vaccination sites: SM Center Muntinlupa, Ayala Malls South Park, Festival upper ground floor covered parking, New Cupang Health Center, and Sucat Covered Court.


It is also given to A1, A2, A3 and A4 at the De La Salle Zobel School.

The vaccination site at Poblacion Elementary School at Southville 3 housing project in Brgy. Poblacion is still non-operational.
