Seventeen’s ‘Your Choice’ album reaches one million copies in sales in 4 days

K-pop boy band Seventeen’s new album “Your Choice” sold more than one million copies in just four days of release.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Your Choice” accumulated sales of 1,145,444 copies as of June 21 after the albums’ release on June 18.

The figure surpassed the first-week sales of their previous album “Semicolon,” which recorded 932,054.

“Your Choice” is Seventeen’s fourth album to reach one million in sales after "An Ode," "Semicolon" and "Heng:garae."

Of the 1,145,444 copies in sales for “Your Choice,” 881,788 copies were sold on the first day on June 18 followed by 70,593 on June 19, 22,432 copies on June 20 and 170,631 copies on June 21. The album has topped Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart for four straight days.

“Your Choice” topped Hanteo’s weekly album chart with 974,813 copies in sales in three days.

According to Hanteo Chart, "Heng:garae" sold 1,097,891 copies in the first week of release and sold 1,146,465 copies by end of 2020 to become the third best-selling album of the year after BTS’ “Map of the Soul: 7,’ which had 3,839,242 copies in sales and BTS’ “BE: Deluxe Edition,” which recorded 2,343,709 copies.

With “Your Choice,” Hanteo Chart will award Seventeen with the second “Initial Chodong Million-Seller Certificate.”
