Jericho Cruz scored 20 points to help Guam produce another lopsided victory over Hong Kong, 112-66, Tuesday, June 15 in Group C of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in Amman, Jordan.

The NLEX Road Warriors guard made 8-of-11 shots including three triples as Guam completed a sweep of their two-game series with Hong Kong to forge a tie for the lead with Australia and New Zealand in the group at 2-1.

It is still being determined if Guam is already assured of at least a place in the second round of the continental qualifiers given the situation of Australia and New Zealand which both elected not to participate in the third window.

But their record is already a big accomplishment for the tiny nation which aims to gain a spot in the main stage of the FIBA Asia Cup slated mid-August in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Cruz also added four rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes.

Tai Wesley had 18 points, 15 rebounds and five assists while former NLEX import Curtis Washington finished with 16 points and three rebounds.

Former University of the East cager Chris Connor added nine points, three rebounds and three assists for Guam.
